PROBLEM SOLVING STRATEGY OF READING COMPREHENSION
Some of the strategies that you can use in working on reading problems, among others:

  1. Text does not need to read all the literature, it would just be a waste of time.
  2. Refer to understand the question first and then the new mean look for the answer in the text.
  3. Do not think too long on words or phrases that you yourself do not know what that means. Try to guess the meaning because your time is very short.
  4. Identify nouns and verbs are important.
  5. Refer glance, observe the first sentence of each paragraph.
  6. Read the text carefully, mark the main points, the names, definitions, conclusions place, and figures.
  7. Answer questions, but not for too long on one question.
  8. You must fill in all the answers. If you had to guess the answer, guess B or C.
  9. Remember, the wrong answer does not diminish your value.

TYPES OF QUESTIONS READING COMPREHENSION 
Answering questions reading comprehension section can be prepared with understanding the different types of question. The following are the various types of questions that often appear in TOEFL. 

A. Questions about the main topic. 
The main topic is the main subject of reading, about what reading it. Topic or theme could be: the core content of posts (what the text is about) or headline (title). Topic is one thing that is most likely to come out on every TOEFL test. Examples of question topic: 
a. What is the main topic of this passage? 
b. What is the text mainly talking about? 
c. What is the passage of text about? 
TIPS & TRICKS 
To find a topic you do not need to read the passage in detail and depth. All you have to do is: 
1. Reading the first and last sentence in each paragraph reading. 
2. Discover the key word (key word) that is repeated both at the beginning, middle, end, especially the conclusion. 
3. These keywords can be either synonymous or synonymous words. 
4. If questions about a topic, then the answer in the form of a word or phrase form (group of words) 

B. Questions about the main idea
The main idea is the main idea of a paragraph which contains information, explanation, description, or the opinion of the author of the topic. The main idea is the explanation for the title of the topic, explaining from the author's perspective. The main idea is a topic description, it will be longer and be a complete sentence. 
Examples of main idea questions 
1. What is the main idea of this passage? 
2. What is the text talking about? 
3. The main idea of this passage is ... 
4. What's the author's main idea of paragraph 2? 
TIPS & TRICKS 
Some things you need to consider in answering questions about main idea, among others: 
1. The kind of question regarding the details or the details contained in certain parts of the reading. 
2. Answer to this type of question in general can be found directly in the passage. 
3. Answer to questions of this kind are generally administered sequentially in reading. 
4. In many cases, detailed questions require you to select the answer that is paraphrasing, or a restatement of the same intonation with different words, and facts contained in the passage. A meyampaikan paraphrasing the same meaning, but differ slightly in vocabulary and word usage of language. 

C. Questions about the details 
Shape - The following forms can be used to initiate detailed questions: 
1. According to the passage ... 
2. It is Indicated that ... 
3. It is stated ... 
4. All of the following are Mentioned EXCEPT ... 
5. Which of the following is NOT supported by ... 
6. The passage states that ... 
7. The author states that ... 
8. What does the author say about ... 

D. Questions about the conclusion 
The conclusion is a summary of the readings. Conclusions are located at the end of the reading. 
Sample question the conclusion: 
1. It can be concluded that ... 
2. What is the conclusion of this text? 
3. We can conclude that ... 
4. It can be inferred that ... 
5. What can be inferred from the passage? 
6. It can be inferred from the passage that ... 

QUESTIONS & DISCUSSION READING COMPREHENSION
The influenza virus is a single molecule composed of millions of individual atoms. While bacteria can be Considered as a type of plant, secreting poisonous substance into the body of the organism they attack, viruses, like the influenza viruses, are Themselves living organism. We may Consider them as regular chemical molecules since they have strictly defined atomic structure, but on the other hand, we must also Consider them as being alive since they are Able to multiply in unlimited quantities.

Dikalimat both mentioned bacteria can be Considered as a type of plant. Because the bacterium is a plant, then they certainly living beings. Answer D

discussion:

In the last sentence of the paragraph mentioned we may Consider them as a regular chemical molecules since they have strictly defined atomic structure. Answer B
